I have now had the longest break from writing my blog and am very happy I did so. The best part of being off so to speak is in getting back I can now have more structure to my future blogs as a result of going back and reading past blogs. I have with some forethought decided to limit the blogs to seven categories, hopefully I will touch on each weekly.

The Mathmatecum is almost six years old and will make its sixth distribution to members before this coming February 15, 2025. 5% of total Membership Monies are as a result of the planned 20% retention of income for the benefit of members. There are four members who have passed away and they along with the founder do not participate in the distribution of income. These two features are what makes the Mathmatecum unique and unattainable on an individual basis. This affect will heighten once membership closes.

Members please don’t forget that money can be earned by sponsoring new members. Also, a gift of membership will be novel and provide who you gift a lifetime of passive income. The recipient will think of you at least yearly when they receive their yearly stipend.

December marks my 18th year in Hawaii. One of the treats here are Malasadas from Leonard’s Bakery. The Malasadas are Benie like pastries, dough deep fried and then rolled in granulated sugar. My Sicilian family did the same thing with pizza dough, and we called them Pizza Frite. For the first time in my life, I made them this past week. They were wonderful.

The elections are now over – let’s see what happens and pray for the best.

The new economic and political system known as Formicalism (which I designed) should be the direction all governments aspire to. Simple values with outsized effects upon the body politic. Food, shelter, and medical care should be first on the agenda. Where and how monies should come into government coffers is of course the first priority and equity in obtaining the monies is paramount. There is a need to modernize the US Constitution in my opinion.  I believe there should be a call for a constitutional convention in 2035. Estates should be designed to pass money down to as many generations as the laws allow.

I am 82 and at the moment still going strong. My dad’s generation were into movies. His being a hairdresser made all the actors back stories important to know. I still love movies, but boy has going to see them in theaters become expensive. I now have a membership at Regal Cinemas that allows me to see more movies than I have time for. When I renewed my yearly subscription this year, I thought how I paid to go to the movies when I was in grade school. Most times Saturday movies for kids was 25 cents and way downtown they were 10 cents. To get the money to go we learned that certain types of parking meters would often give up their nickel if you snap backed its crank. To do this was a two-person event. The snapper and the catcher!
