For those of you new to the Mathmatecum just a simple fact to remember is that it started in 2019 and has had five monetary distributions to members. The costliest membership during the first year was for a newborn at the maximum rate of $125.That member has earned 10.464% overall and a 2.09% yearly average. Our oldest member that first year earned to date overall 32.96% which included sponsorship income the yearly average is 6.59%. Now here is the best part. Our oldest member who is 93 has received 109.28% return over the last 3 years at a 36.42% average yearly rate. Presently three members have already received their entire cost of membership.

Longevity being a crucial part of the Mathmatecum’s value, here are some statistics that I hope you find interesting. These are “life spans” and not “life expectancies”. A 30-year study in the Netherlands of some 75,000 people showed the oldest lived woman was age 115.7 years and the oldest aged male was 114.1! The most current oldest person was 122 years of age who was living in France. I at present have a wonderful woman whom I have called Aunt Esther – she is 111years of age! She is the aunt of a first cousin of mine who lives in Washington Township, NJ! My cousin (Netta) tells me her aunt is the second oldest person in New Jersey!!!

Suze Orman was recently quoted to have said that $2,000,000 was not enough savings for retirement! Say it AIN’T so Suze.

I have finally gotten caught up with all the things that should have been done while I was away. Now the first of the month is just around the corner. This is not so much a complaint as a fact of life. Life being quite precious as we are reminded this Memorial Day of those who gave their lives on our behalf.
