This past week has seemed to be the week against it all!  Whatever that implies. Sen. Sanders and Rep. AOC are touring the nation with the “we are AGAINST the billionaire’s mantra”. The administration is AGAINST the present state of affairs (without a delineated plan for the future).  The markets are AGAINST inflation, recession, and the possibility of job loss.

The new socioeconomic system, Formicalism, is not against billionaires but wants more of them. What it does want however is less concentration of wealth amongst all classes. Government must not only show fiscal responsibility but also set forth a stated path for its yearly operation, government is not the enemy of the people it is the people. Manipulating markets for the benefit of the people as opposed to for the benefit of the financial industry is a must and must be attained.

“Do business things that make social sense and social things that make business sense” this is the motto of Chaminade University Hogan Entrepreneurs John Webster in an article in today’s Honolulu Star Advertiser. Usually, economic systems don’t have mottos. However, they do have guides and this should be one.

Formicalism is a way of achieving social justice for all the individuals in society. A well-functioning society provides all its members with food, shelter, and medical care. Through an education system the government should teach people how to earn and also teach them how to find contentment.

Funding the government should be from a flat tax of 15% imposed on all income to individuals. There will no longer be a distinction between earned income and any other type of income. There will be absolutely no deductions. Corporations will be subject to the same tax rate on all net income. Social Security and Medicare for all will be funded from a contribution of 5% from the employee and 5% from the employer. CEOs shall not receive salaries in excess of 100 times the least paid employee. There shall not be any stock buybacks nor stock bonuses given to employees.
