The year is ending and I’m now starting to write checks to members. For members and non-members who follow my blog, joining this late in the year has very beneficial effects. The year to date has not seen us lose any members. Actually overall, only four members over the six years of its existence have passed. Remember distributions are as follows: 20% is retained and kept in the Membership Fund, 10% is distributed to the oldest ten members, and 70% is distributed to the entire membership equally.
The University of Hawaii will have its football PPV (pay per view) contract come to an end 7/31/25! Local athletes leave the island very often because there is more likely a chance of being seen playing on national TV. Young children here in Hawaii do not have local heroes until they reach the pros. Until all games are seen weekly here as they happen – crowds will not fill up the stands in my opinion.
Rent control is frowned upon in a capitalistic society such as ours. However, there being no rent control makes for too many working homeless. It is necessary to tie together minimum wage and rent. I suggest that units of 320 sq. ft. or less shall rent for one 40 hr. weeks gross pay. Presently 10 states are at $7.25/hr. which would make rent $290/mo. Here in Hawaii minimum wage is $14/hr. and rent jumps to $560 per month.
I read an analysis of why the company 23 and Me was not doing well. The author said they were running out of customers. The Mathmatecum has a finite number of members that can join. If that number is not reached by 12/31/41 membership will close. Up until either of these events occurs the yearly income will not rise more strongly than inflation dictates.
Monies in the Mathmatecum produce truly passive income. A onetime purchase of membership provides a lifetime of income distributed annually. Generational wealth can be acquired by creating a Mathmatecum Directive! Again, a onetime purchase and a lifetime of income to the individual purchasing same. These Directives act in effect exactly like a dynasty trust.
