My favorite holiday has been Thanksgiving ever since I came to understand how the Santa Claus myth worked. Therefore, I am writing this abbreviated blog to wish everyone a happy and healthy Thanksgiving. I received an email today from my sister about her travel plans for the holiday. She is going to be at our brothers for the big day, at my nieces for a double birthday party, and then an oyster roast at my daughter’s home! A magnificent gastronomic week. Wish I could be there with them for the company and the food sounds awesome.
Me and my Hawaiian family will dine and take in a movie. Love my gang here and how they fuss over me- God Bless them.
Strange week for me. Always healthy but somehow hurt my back and my flu shot yesterday gave me chills and fever. A reminder I’m no longer a youngster. Taking the week off to recuperate – catch you next week with a fuller blog.
